There was an incident this evening not involving my dog but some others. I immediately yelled grab them by the back of the legs and pull them apart. This seemed to work but one of the human handlers of the aggressive dog didn’t listen and got bit.
We have been on the hunt for a new family member for a while. We have had no luck adopting and eventually found this little guy. We pick him up in a few days!
I will miss you. I hope that whatever’s out there will finally give you the long-deserved sense of peace and safety you never got in this life. You deserve it.
Cried my eyes out at the vet’s …. I’ve lost my best friend. Two cancers in his mouth left no choice but letting him go. I still feel the warmth of his head and his last breath under my hand. I’m hurt to the bone but glad his pain is over.
Just kidding, she already had a name when I adopted her. But I suspect that will be one of many new nicknames she will be hearing frequently from now on.
