Like the entire year of modlogs of random users/comms I checked is missing…

Some of my comments/posts still aren’t getting federated. The admins said last week that they’re looking into it, is there any news on that front?

Title pretty much says it. Often I have to click multiple times before I get any indication I’ve upvoted a post. (edit: same with comments) Sometimes I just give up. Primarily just curious if it’s an “only me” thing or if other people have this problem.

Getting federation issues again today. Posts & comments aren’t showing in other instances.

Error 503 Backend fetch failed

It seems piefed.ca is having some federation issues lately. My comments were getting less traction and it’s been unusually quiet, and sure enough most posts/comments from the last 24h are missing.

Long story short, deleted my account and made this new one. Communities I moderated are still on the instance, and I was hoping to ask to be given moderator perms again by instance admins.

Sorry about all the post spam from otters_raft, I fixed a cronjob that wasn’t running and things seem to have gone a little haywire. We’re trying to clean them all up and figure out what happened

Lemmy solves this by having separate entries for links and image links (or uploads). I can’t find a way to fix this in PieFed. There’s a bunch of sites that the autofill fails on every time (CBC, Tyee, The Atlantic, NYT, WaPo just off the top of my head).

That downtime was me upgrading us to the latest Piefed 1.6.

Does scheduled posts work for anyone on Piefed? I’ve tried making a few scheduled posts and woke up this morning noticing that none of them posted.

If I visit !wowthislemmyexists@lemmy.ca on PieFed, I only see 4 posts. But if I visited the same community on Lemmy, I see multiple pages of threads dating back to 2 years ago. Anyone know what’s going on?

I started doing some work for the PieFed section of the Fedecan wiki (basically, I was able to build and serve a local copy of the repo for testing so far).

I made a post on a programming.dev community yesterday and I’m not seeing it when I visit the community directly via programming.dev. Any idea what’s going on? Is this an issue on our end or theirs?

Ever since I got a ban a few months ago, my account has had problems posting and commenting on some instances or communities.

When I click the Search button, then put in a keyword for a post or community, I only get blank results or “No posts match your search.”

Is anyone having trouble with the comments always being sorted by “New” even though the default comment sort is set to “Top” in the settings?
