I’m using the Thunder Android app, and its really great, but I can’t find a way to check what I up- (or down-)voted. Is this generally a thing that Lemmy should have on display somewhere and maybe the app just hasn’t implemented, or is Lemmy simply not exposing that data to the user?

Before posting an image to the fedi, I want to be mindful about the network burden it will cause. I’m only uploading the image once but potentially thousands of people could end up downloading it.

Like there is the Official Mastodon app for Mastodon, and Element app for Matrix, which app is considered the most official lemmy app for Android [possibly also for ios]

When I click to subscribe some groups it goes to Pending stage for a long time before it gets to subscribed.

It is constantly being well developed.

From what I understand, federation doesn’t currently fetch historic actions, so if your community was fetched onto a new remote instance after you featured/pinned the post, then it won’t appear like it’s pinned on that instance.

The issue: You find a link to a neat lemmy community on some random instance. In order to subscribe, you have go to your instance, search for the community, find it, open it, subscribe…blah!

Style may not apply to the URL of your instance, and in that case, you need to do it yourself. - Click on the Stylus extension icon, and then click manage. - New tab will open with a list of all installed styles. Click on the style that you just installed. - That will open the style editor. You want to look for a field that looks like this and click on the + button. - That will add a new field just below it. In the empty field, type the URL of your instance. - In the top left corner of the page, there is a Save button. Click that, and you are done.

Been using this one for over a decade. Works with Firefox’s bookmark keywords feature.

I got this tip from someone else but apparently this is just a bit of a bug with so much new traffic. It might not work the first time you try. If it doesn’t, try again later.

If you go over that limit, there won’t be any kind of indicator/message saying so. If you try to submit a post, you will get a forever loading icon, and the post will never be submitted. So make sure to check your character count.
