Sometimes you get banned for being nice, or even just for being in the wrong instance.
I upvoted a “spam account” once apparently, so I’m permabanned from c/RPGMemes now. Shit happens 🤷🏻♂️

I’m pretty sure said mod just went through every upvote and banned a ton of people regardless of whether they knew it was a spambot.

Sometimes you get banned for uhh… I don’t even know. This comment was mostly inspired by me realising I was banned from a community I have never heard of since pretty much making my account.
Better be extra mean now just to offset the ban.
