I just love going back to old strips and seeing how concepts and characters were introduced. Quincy isn’t on Hobbes’ level of animal companion to the comic strip kid, but he was important to me when I was reading this comic every day.

Jesus fucking christ. 1988. Foxtrot is almost forty years old and I still think of it as a “new” comic strip because it started after Bloom County and Calvin and Hobbes.

Please hold, I need to contemplate my mortality.
