You all have spoken, and we have listened. The team and I, as well as Lemmy.world Admins, have come to an agreement that any artist/comic that is deemed to be transphobic, racist, or in any other way demonstrates bigotry toward any group or minority will be removed from circulation. We will keep a list of banned artists in the sidebar and update it as new artists are uncovered.
Well hello again everybody! This has been a wonderful past couple of days. I want to give a huge thank you to everybody who participated in my Under New Management post from Thursday. There was a lot of great feedback, and it will go a long way to helping me better understand all of your wants and needs for this community. Yay!
Update 1: I edited the 📽️ Credit Where Credit is Due rule to be more clear about attributions, watermarks, and cropping of comics. Also I fixed some spelling mistakes.

Spud Sedition was a friend of mine from back in the day, preacher’s son, bisexual punk rock god, an all around hilarious individual. Was in a band called “Order of the Eye,” but had to leave after he was kicked out of the house within 24 hours of coming out to his parents. Not sure what’s become of him as his online footprint is nonexistant. Last I heard he joined the circus and was with people who cared for him. Not a joke, he literally was a circus ring master.

Another strip with Pugsley. Today he is seen dipping his arrows in a jar with a skull and crossbones signifying poison. The medicine cabinet is ajar inferring he got the poison from there.

One reoccurring theme in Addams’ works, is mariticide. Which is quite the stark contrast to The Addams Family, where Morticia and Gomez love nothing more than their spouse.
This is true. If you were to see my sketches, they’re awful. Cartooning isn’t about being a good artist. I see so many people telling me they can’t draw which is the reason they don’t want to be a cartoonist. I hope they realize they can probably come up with the funniest shit from the worst drawings.
When it came time to giving names to the members of the Addams Family, Charles had a name for the son, Pubert. But he was asked to rename him for the TV show. So he was named Pugsley.

I hope this sort of post is ok. I’m looking for a comic strip I saw the other day (which may or not been here, I follow comics in multiple places) which depicted a woman walking her dog and stopping at a food truck and still buying the food even after she found out that they kill puppies with every purchase, because “it’s sooo good!”
